Coach RAC

RobertAnthony Cruz, a.k.a. Coach RAC, is cultivating champions in sports and in life. He played professional baseball for the Washington Nationals, a dream since he was 8 years old, but it's through youth coaching that he found his calling. Coach RAC uses his pro background to make instructional social media content for youth baseball and softball. Viewers can find the fundamentals for hitting, catching, and throwing, pointers for choosing the right gear, or how to improve speedwork and agility. He also provides a suite of motivational tips and tricks to instill a winning mindset, like honing on-field focus and heightening confidence. Off-camera, he is a left fielder for the Savannah Bananas, the exhibition baseball team that combines athleticism, theater, and comedy to reimagine America’s oldest sport. Whether he's instructing the next generation or going bananas for a sold-out stadium of fans, it's been a profoundly rewarding experience for Coach RAC — right off the bat.
